A Holiday Arrangement

My family and I put together a couple of flower arrangements the other day for a holiday party. I think it's our best yet, and all we used was some greens from the yard and some stars and berries from the grocery store. It's a perfect centerpiece for the dinning room table!

First Snow!

I was so excited to walk downstairs yesterday morning to find a couple of inches of fresh gleaming snow on the ground. I was so happy to see the snow that just had to get my Airedale, Max, outside for some pictures. Isn't he just too cute with his antlers on?

Mandarin Oriental Hotel

These amazing pictures are via the Mandarin Oriental Hotel in NYC. Mandarin Oriental has five star hotels all over the world, but the designs of this one hotel have to be my favorite. The breathtaking New York skyline seems to be visible from every window. The hotel was designed by Hirsch Bedner Associates, who have designed some amazing spaces. (click here to see more).
